Yep. My mom's not on facebook, and refuses to, but my dad is, all three of my uncles, all four of my aunts, and countless other family members.

why not? I rarely go on the farcebook..."fanning" a person seems odd but sometimes interesting things come up. the farcebook is okay as long as you are able to ignore a lot of what most people post ("today is great, he really loves me" then "why don't you love me? today is the worst day of my life" yuck!). The thing I don't get is the tumblr thing...we use tumblr to create client sites sometimes (depending on what they are looking for) ... it seems like watching a website or blog.

I know it was on the first page but I ragefaced when I saw the discussion with SEMC. It's your business, it's up to you on how to do things. Not some lazy person that can't be bothered to make a few extra click with a mouse. Or even know how the rules of the site work. How lazy can one possibly be? You work hard and draw Gorgeous art just for someone like that to tell you to run things differently so they can wank off without bookmarking a few sites? I think not.
Sorry for the rant Slugbox. Your an awesome artist and I love your work, you do things how you want and screw what the lazy haters say!

If I were on shitty social sites I'd have no problem "friending" you or whatever they call it.

But I am of the belief that social sites are garbage and wastes of time. DA is somewhat social but not the same as facesuck and mystink or twatter.

I'm one of the few that don't go on Facebook, or Tumblr, or anything really. Deviant art is the only place I follow you, but I wouldn't be embarrassed of following you on Facebook. My choice, not my family's.

I have younger cousins who are friends... Ah, wth, I was looking up far more explicit things at their age, anyway. And at least your stuff is aesthetically pleasing! Beautiful, even! Of kids, I've always said, given the option, I'd much rather they walk down the street and see people having sex than come across a dead body, and that goes the same for any screen they might be watching as well. Sorry parents, your kids are bound to find out about nipples eventually!
