A commission for :iconsephzero:, using the slugbox style fullbody sale.

You know, I think I prefer working with the more "normal" looking characters. Although it it's a fact that Elaine turns into a horrible monster of sorts, which will be the next commission. For now, i'm happy to draw a girl with a somewhat short skirt and a long jacket...

An interesting, and nuanced work. As a follower of :iconsephzero: work, I do particularly enoy this project. You have realised Elaine well; giving a darkly stylish, metropolitan look to her fashions which adds to the character. Elaine herself is mysterious here, in that her aura is somewhat brisk while a more discerning eye will find the lingering, risen teal veins - suggestive of her nature, and other side... Thematically, it is a strong and mysterious execution.

Technically, I praise this too. It has a good composition and the textures, colour, shading and contours are well realised, as is the splendid dynamic of the piece. I can find few flaws in this, but I will not linger on them. In all, a beautiful, dark and nuanced piece of Elaine Melbourne. Unique and potent with its own energy. Splendid =).
