If you follow Cteno you know that stories, character development, or artistic integrity take a real backseat to fanservice and what not, and that’s fine with me! That’s kind of the point! But I really like drawing her with butterflies and flowers and stuff. I like the idea of some horrible creature and “pretty things.” If you think about a flower or a butterfly, they’re pretty grotesque and weird too. I’m not sure if that makes it art or anything more meaningful or not, or if I want that or not. Or if it matters what I think.

There’s a little average dude in the bottom left corner for size comparison. Cteno’s really tall. 7 ft+. As a blob monster with an expandable spine that probably varies, but when she’s just standing she’s one of those awkward tall girls who fidgets nervously.

Um...Is it just me, or does it look like if she even tried to walk on all fours, she's break her arms/front legs? You can't walk upright forever.

Cteno is the most beautiful monster girl... I love how sweet an innocent she looks, even though she is also monster-ey (I hesitate to use a strong word like grotesque because I feel like she is too adorable and gorgeous for a word like that to apply to her)
